Oktopost allows you to use AdRoll in order to retarget anyone who clicks on links that were shared using the platform.
To enable this integration, simply head over to the Integrations tab in your account and configure the AdRoll integration. You will be required to enter your Advertiser and Pixel IDs, which can be found on your AdRoll account - see below.
You will also be required to set up a CNAME for your Oktopost account, if you have not done so already.
Once configured, Oktopost will trigger your AdRoll Smart Pixel whenever a user clicks on a link that you shared using the platform. For each URL that Oktopost redirects, the information will be recorded by AdRoll, allowing you to retarget the users who clicked based on the social source parameters as mentioned below.
How to Create AdRoll Segments Based on Social Clicks
To create segments on AdRoll based on Oktopost clicks you will need to use URL Segments and configure each segment according to your desired use-case and the following URL structure:
http://[YOUR CNAME]/social/[NETWORK]/[CAMPAIGN NAME]/[SOCIAL PROFILE]/[CAMPAIGN_TAGS]/[POST_SOURCE]/[HASH]?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=[NETWORK]&utm_term=[CAMPAIGN TAGS]&utm_campaign=[CAMPAIGN NAME]
