Get Slack channel notifications for new advocacy messages in Oktopost
Delivering social content to your employees in the most convenient ways is key to elevating your corporate advocacy program. In addition to Oktopost’s native email notifications, now you can automatically send Slack notifications whenever there is a new advocacy message added to your board.
Activate this Zap by choosing your Oktopost account in the first drop-down menu and your Slack account – in the second one. Next, specify a Slack channel to which you want to send notifications and click on Turn on Zap. From now on, you will receive a notification for every advocacy message added to your board.
By default, notifications will come from the Oktopost bot and will look like this:
"A new post was added to your advocacy board: [Advocacy message content] [Advocacy message link]"

Create Zendesk tickets for new Oktopost assignments
Please note that Zendesk automations are available for Premium Zapier users only.
With Oktopost, you can listen to social buzz around your brand and assign relevant conversations to your customer support team. To streamline this process, Zapier can automatically create a Zendesk ticket once there is a new assignment in Oktopost’s Social Inbox.
Activate this Zap by choosing your Oktopost and Zendesk accounts and clicking on Turn on Zap.
By default, a Zendesk ticket created by this automation will have a title “[Assignment Date] New Oktopost Assignment” and its description will include an assigner name, their comment and the URL to this assignment inside the Oktopost.
To change these parameters or to add more data, click on Go to Advanced Mode while editing this Zap. You can always edit, customize or turn off this automation in My Zaps.
Create leads in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM for new social conversions
Oktopost allows B2B marketers to make their social leads visible to the sales team. With this Zap, you can automatically upload new Oktopost social conversions as leads to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
To activate this Zap, choose or add your Oktopost and Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounts. To modify default parameters, click on Go to Advanced Mode while editing. To change or turn off this Zap later, go to My Zaps.
Save new WordPress posts as Oktopost messages
If you use WordPress as your blogging platform, there is a faster way to share blog posts on social media. Zapier can automatically save your new posts as ready-to-publish messages in Oktopost.
To get started with this Zap, choose your Oktopost and WordPress accounts in the drop-down menu. Next, pick a social network for sharing your blog posts and add a campaign ID. If you want to share your posts to more than one social channel, you will have to add separate Zaps for each network.
To get a campaign ID, go to your Oktoposts account, choose or create a campaign for your blog posts, and copy ID from the campaign’s URL – a 15-character alphanumeric combination that comes after app.oktopost.com/. It should look like this: 002mtdkk6p5b12j or 002l8ppub9qhvza.
By default, a new Oktopost message created by this Zap will contain a blog post title and a link attachment with an image thumbnail. To change these parameters, click on Go to Advanced Mode while editing.
