When managing global Social Media it would be helpful to implement crisis mode either globally or by country - the later is only possible manually today.
If country crisis could be added it would help manage two use cases:
1) When reacting to natural disasters (earthquake, typhoon etc) which typically occur within one or a limited set of countries and where it would be inappropriate to continue to make posts during that time of local crisis.
2) Management events that affected the status of a representative company within a country, ex, reacting to political turmoil, local CSR issues etc.Chris Hazlewood

Sorry additional comment request about Crisis mode.
When Crisis mode is enabled it should not stop new draft posts from being created - just prevent them from being published within the crisis window/timeframe.
Blocking the creation of future posts (outside of the crisis window) means people are unable to get on with their jobs of creating content and approvng it...
