Allow ad hoc utm_content on each post
It would be very useful for us to be able to assign a human-readable UTM Content tag to each post. Currently the only unique identifier we can apply is post_id. And while that allows us to attribute to an individual post, it is just a string of numbers.
When making a new post, users should have an optional field to enter in a utm_content tag that overrides the account setting.
A less elegant option (but still better than post ID) would be to have a keyword that would just take the first 30 (or so) characters of a post and assign that to the Content tag. Or perhaps 20 characters and a date-stamp. Or heck, worst case, nothing but a timestamp. That would still be better than post ID.

Absolutely agree with Stephanie.
For now, it's only working on a campaign, but not on a post level. Example: We're running many postings within one campaign. Furthermore, often we're posting in different languages and need to make sure how the different posts performed.
To illustrate, the URLs could look as follows:
- utm_content=how-does-oktopost-work-de ((german))
- utm_content=how-does-oktopost-work-en ((english))
- utm_content=how-does-oktopost-work-fr ((french))--> Updates for your community are very welcome :-) Thanks!

Could you look into this idea again? For example: We run a thematic campaign with different assets, i.e. videos and pictures and we'd like to understand which creative worked best (what drove the most clicks, what the most conversions)
Using the post ID makes the analysis a little harder than a tag per post. Maybe it could work if the user could give each post a name which can then populate the utm_content tag? -

It's an interesting suggestion. Have you tried using the campaign UTM settings? If you're using campaigns thematically, you will be able to assign a unique utm_content tag per campaign and recognise it in your Google Analytics account.

Definitely need a better and easier to use identifier for UTM content, than a post ID number - very manual
