When a message is made available to the Advocates for sharing, it should look like a 'share' - that is, have the header with the original post's creator, date, etc. Having it appear like the Advocates own thoughts is suboptimal when multiple Advocates post identical messages in the first person.1 vote
This is already possible. In order to create a “share” post that shows the original post’s information, you simply need to share the link to that specific post.
You can get a post’s link from the Calendar by clicking View Report for a Post, right-clicking the Social Profile’s name under “Posted By”, and clicking “Copy Link Address”.
post videos from oktopost2 votes
Oktopost supports sharing videos on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. To ensure that your videos will be shared, without issues, we validate each video according to the selected network’s specifications.
Please make sure that the video you’re trying to upload is formatted based on the specifications in this article: https://community.oktopost.com/knowledgebase/articles/1865824-sharing-videos
In order to create a post with multiple images, you currently have to select/upload each image individually.
It would save a lot of time to be able to select them all at once when selecting/uploading them.6 votes
You are able to upload multiple photos at once by using drag and drop directly to the post console.
Once a post that has been scheduled is edited, a blank "make post" box is left on screen. I never want to make a post directly after editing a post. It should go straight back to the calendar screen2 votes
After editing a post, the post console will now close.
Export Engagement Analytics as CSV or Excel2 votes
We offer engagement reports that you can download to a csv for different assets. Head over to
analytics—>reports—>filter by asset—→download.
Have an option to have weekly report sent to account admins broken down by team specific. IE. US, AMEA, LATAM, etc.
It is possible to access this info but you have to go into analytics and filter down by each team and save that report. Having it automatically sent would be a time saver and give a quick look at teams usage and performance.1 vote
This is now available using the new Social BI. You can build a report that breaks down the performance by teams and set up a recurring export for you and your colleagues.
Add ability to filter employee advocacy posts by TOPIC. Currently you can only filter by platform and popularity. It would help clean up the view for employee advocates.9 votes
We’ve recently updated the filters on the board to include topics. Please let us know if you have any feedback.
make it possible for advocates to send photos to admins to post on social channels, we currently work with a long workaround (send via email/whatsapp, save to computer, upload in oktopost, send out)5 votes
This is supported in the advocacy board suggestions feature. Along with suggesting the link and messaging, advocates also have the ability to add media files.
Ability to save filters in analytics to be able to navigate to different dashboards without losing most recent filter settings.
It would be nice if we were able to save filters in analytics to be able to navigate to different dashboards without losing most recent filter settings. Like Segments in Google analytics1 vote
With our recent updates, selected analytics filters now carry over to all applicable tabs.
When composing or replying to messages, it would be extremely nice to be able to insert emoji in Oktopost rather than having to go to a 3rd party tool (I'm using Buffer) to insert emoji and then copy/paste back into Oktopost.3 votes
As part of our Post Console update, there is now an Emoji picker
Because some content is time-sensitive, an option for real-time notifications should be available. Many of our users want the option to be notified when new content is available, but the best they can receive right now is daily notifications. Not ideal when every competitor offers multiple options for notifications.1 vote
Post previewer per day per platform. Right now the hover doesn't show the complete post, you need to open the post to view and the close.1 vote
From the calendar view, you can hover on any given post to see the post in its entirety.
Have an option to upload videos to Instagram.6 votes
This is now available.

New post button to be floating in the page, so when you are looking at the week posts and you are down scolling at 10/11 pm and creating new posts you dont have to get back up to click on the create new post button on and on again.1 vote
Not exactly what was asked but this should functionally serve the same purpose:
You can now start a new post, minimize the Post Console window, scroll down, bring back up the Post Console and create a post.
You can also set it to not close the Post Console window with a checkmark in the Share Now/Queue/Schedule button menu, allowing you to minimize and continue making new posts from the bottom of the calendar screen. I’ve attached a screenshot of how this looks.
Enable employees to share/RT posts from corporate Twitter/LI/FB so that the boost is given to the corporate account, not their personal one.4 votes
You can now do this by sharing the link to the original post in Oktopost on the relevant Social Network.
The easiest way to get the original post’s link is from the Calendar, click on the original post and View Report, then right-click the link under “Posted By” and copy the link address.
The ability for advocates to suggest posts directly.6 votes
This feature is available. The Oktopost Admin has the ability to turn on or off this function. See our knowledge base article here for more info. https://community.oktopost.com/knowledgebase/articles/1891921-advocate-content-suggestions
Managing more than one Twitter account on the Social Board.1 vote
I would really like to see comments made to my Facebook posts within this platform!3 votes
This is currently available from the Social Inbox https://community.oktopost.com/knowledgebase/articles/861921-the-social-inbox
In the campaigns, allow for setting that let you change your default settings for each campaign, or all campaigns. Including default all new posts to approved or unapproved when created. Currently it defaults to approved, then i have to manually change it to unapproved for review.
Changing the account privileges to contributor handicaps the specific account, and is a nuke option for something that could be fixed at the campaign level if there were an option to change your default campaign settings.1 vote
Your best bet to force approvals on a per-User basis is to set up a Custom User Role. With this feature, you can allow Users any set of permissions, while preventing them from being able to approve their own posts.
If it’s more of a convenience thing where you would rather it toggle the default one way or another, our new Workflows update sets your last “post” option as toggled, so if you want to make several approval posts, after setting the first one to “Send to Approval” the next posts you create will also show “Send to Approval” as the default action rather than “Share now/Schedule”.
Show a true preview of what the post will look like on a social network. With image sizes and formats always changing on social networks, it would be nice to have a "true" preview of what each post will look like before it is published.7 votes
Through the Post Console, if you view your post in its Full-Screen mode, your post preview should be a much better indicator of how its final appearance will be, with options to see it in desktop and mobile view.
