  1. Close post console window after editing a future post.

    Once a post that has been scheduled is edited, a blank "make post" box is left on screen. I never want to make a post directly after editing a post. It should go straight back to the calendar screen

  2. allow emoji

    When composing or replying to messages, it would be extremely nice to be able to insert emoji in Oktopost rather than having to go to a 3rd party tool (I'm using Buffer) to insert emoji and then copy/paste back into Oktopost.

  4. new posts floating button

    New post button to be floating in the page, so when you are looking at the week posts and you are down scolling at 10/11 pm and creating new posts you dont have to get back up to click on the create new post button on and on again.

    Not exactly what was asked but this should functionally serve the same purpose:

    You can now start a new post, minimize the Post Console window, scroll down, bring back up the Post Console and create a post.

    You can also set it to not close the Post Console window with a checkmark in the Share Now/Queue/Schedule button menu, allowing you to minimize and continue making new posts from the bottom of the calendar screen. I’ve attached a screenshot of how this looks.

  5. Ability to share company posts from Advocacy Board

    Enable employees to share/RT posts from corporate Twitter/LI/FB so that the boost is given to the corporate account, not their personal one.

    You can now do this by sharing the link to the original post in Oktopost on the relevant Social Network.

    The easiest way to get the original post’s link is from the Calendar, click on the original post and View Report, then right-click the link under “Posted By” and copy the link address.

  7. Campaign Default settings - New messages default to choice of approved or unapproved

    In the campaigns, allow for setting that let you change your default settings for each campaign, or all campaigns. Including default all new posts to approved or unapproved when created. Currently it defaults to approved, then i have to manually change it to unapproved for review.
    Changing the account privileges to contributor handicaps the specific account, and is a nuke option for something that could be fixed at the campaign level if there were an option to change your default campaign settings.

    Your best bet to force approvals on a per-User basis is to set up a Custom User Role. With this feature, you can allow Users any set of permissions, while preventing them from being able to approve their own posts.

    If it’s more of a convenience thing where you would rather it toggle the default one way or another, our new Workflows update sets your last “post” option as toggled, so if you want to make several approval posts, after setting the first one to “Send to Approval” the next posts you create will also show “Send to Approval” as the default action rather than “Share now/Schedule”.

  8. Send emails to approvers when content is ready to review

    Notify approvers when social posts have been drafted to be scheduled. Similarly, notify schedulers when a post has been discarded or needs more revisions.

  13. Move the All Topics dropdown closer to the All Networks dropdown

    The All Topics drop down is far to the right of the All Networks drop down. Some users might not notice the All Topics filter, which we think is an important feature/drop down to notice. Can they be located closer together at the top left of the screen?

  15. "Approve" button in editing/post console

    When editing “unapproved” messages it would be great to have an “approve” button. That way you can approve and schedule a message at the same time and need fewer clicks.

    You can do this by scheduling a post time (even if not the final post time, perhaps a placeholder day/time at the end of the week/month for this purpose), sending it to approval, and then the approver can edit the date/time if needed and approve the post to go out. This will create the message for future posts in the selected campaign, while allowing for faster Approve and Post times.

  20. Set the default view for the Advocacy board - By filtering topics

    It would be great if we can set the default view for the Advocacy board main home page by filtering the "topics".

    We started to use the new "topics" feature in order to translate each post to different languages and the problem is that when each board user opens the board they see all the message assets there.

    Therefore, it would be very helpful if we can set the English language posts as default and if someone wants to see only a certain language they can filter by topics.
